Back in May of this year, Norman Fox’s President, Steve Halpin, flew to Washington D.C. as part of the Alliance for Chemical Distribution’s Annual Fly-In. Here, he got to meet with representatives of Congress and advocate for the chemical industry. He also got to meet with Congressman Gil Cisneros and his team and invited them to collaborate on an event that would be beneficial to our customers.
Fast forward to September, Norman Fox hosted a Meet and Greet with Congressman Gil Cisneros and several of our customers and Norfox team members close to our City of Industry headquarters. It was a morning of great conversation and of course, coffee.
Among the attendees, was Maritza, who previously worked for Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District, Equity and Access Program (a program Norman Fox partners with every year for their Thanksgiving Gift Baskets). She mentioned the need for support and collaboration from the community to help students in this district who are homeless. Other conversations included topics about tariffs, taxes and transportation. After all the meaningful discussions, the Congressman ended on a positive note with hopes and dreams for the future.
