Our 10th recipient of the Annual Don O’Shea Employee of the Year Award is presented to our Marketing Manager, Velvet Arriola for her achievements in expanding our Norman Fox culture and brand to our employees, customers and suppliers.
The Don O’Shea Employee of the Year Award is awarded to the Norfox employee who has demonstrated hard-work, diligence and determination throughout the year. The award is dedicated in honor of Norman Fox’s first employee, Don O’Shea who retired in 2016 after 45 years of service.
Velvet started at Norman Fox nine years ago as an Executive Assistant to the President and moved to Marketing director 2.5 years ago. Per Steve Halpin, President of Norman Fox, it was “clear to everyone around that Velvet possessed tremendous potential. Her dedication, professionalism, and ability to consistently operate at a high level did not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful to have someone of her caliber on our team. This recognition is a reflection of the value Velvet brings every day.”
We would like to thank Velvet for all her efforts throughout 2025! As Velvet mentioned, “marketing is a humbling profession in where there is always constant learning to be done.”
