As proud members of the Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD), we actively participate in their responsible distribution efforts. We are happy to share that we are a Silver Sustaining Sponsor for the ACD for 2025.
We actively participate in the ACD’s Responsible Distribution program. This initiative encompasses rigorous adherence to safe chemical handling, storage, and transportation practices. Aside from the Responsible Distribution program, we are very involved in their other initiatives. Norman Fox’s President, Stephen Halpin, is now part of the Executive Board as Treasurer and our VP-General Manager, Vickie Madore, often volunteers for their events. We are also part of their Emerging Leaders Program which focuses on nurturing leaders who are dedicated to advancing in the chemical distribution industry as well as in their own professional career. Two of our Sales Team members have graduated from the program and another of our members is finishing up his last year. Every year we participate in the ACD’s Washington Fly-In which allows us to meet with Members of Congress and advocate for important policy goals.
Being part of the Alliance for Chemical Distributors has allowed us to build connections, understand and advocate for policy goals, advance in our sustainability and environmental efforts and be part of educational programs that help our Norfox team members grow in their professional career.
