Sasol’s Nacol Ethers are biodegradable dialkyl ethers that have very low viscosity and good spreading properties. They are compatible with a wide variety of cleaning applications such as hard surface cleaners, wellbore cleaners, and metal cleaning to name a few. Also, Nacol Ether 6 is a good replacement for D-Limonene.
Our Norfox® brand also provides green options for your cleaning needs. Out Norfox® 609 NR is a narrow range linear alcohol ethoxylate blend. It provides moderate foam, improved emulsification and is fastwetting. It is the next generation NP-9 replacement and is on the CleanGredients list. Another of our products that is on the CleanGredients list is our Norfox® 1101. This Potassium Cocoate product provides flash foam, emulsifying and lathering properties that are typical of coconut soaps together with high solubility and coupling power. Norfox® 1101 can be used as a base for natural products, specifically liquid hand soaps and can be used as a base for formulating insecticidal soap and plant wash.
